HAHAHA! And BAM, school election fight OVAH.
I love that this twist happens. When I first read the original manuscript for Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong (which at the time was called Voted Most Likely) I assumed that the entire story would be the story of the school election. But nnnooo, Prudence had a twist up her sleeve, and the real meat of the story is about to begin.
Enjoyyyy.

YESSS~~~
This could not have gone any better! I love it when creators totally alter the plot halfway through their narrative, like how Holmes and Watson died to Moriarty’s bomb at the end of season 1 of BBC’s Sherlock and season 2 was just Lestrade going on a booze-fueled off-the-books vendetta against the critically-injured but still dangerous Moriarty.
Oh, wait. That didn’t happen. But I’m glad we got a Halfway Plot Switch here! I can’t wait to see what you do next.
You should write for the BBC!
Heh, the budgetversion of “Thats it! Im turning the car around, no Legoland for you”
I love this twist! They really didn’t deserve funding after that behavior. I’m glad the cheerleaders admitted that poor Charlie had nothing to do with it. I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here. ^^
P.S. I really love the way you do facial expressions.
This principal is just amazing! If this is just the start, I can’t hardly wait for the rest.
Hee, Charlie’s “oh, wow, I guess that sucks pretty hard for you guys, huh” expression is so perfect.
He’s such a nice guy.
As you sow, so shall you reap! But why do I get the feeling Charlie is going to end up feeling sorry for both parties and try to help then both get funding?
You’ll see.
wow, that was a sonic BOOM wasn’t it. Broke windows and everything. Hee.
I’m sensing a lesson from Sesame Street in “cooperation” that will get them both their funding. But we’ll see.
This is fantastic.
Wow, I did not expect that and yet it is a perfectly logical twist. It’s actually refreshing to see the principal see what is happening and just put her foot down. Really curious how it will proceed from here.
I have NO problems with that punishment. None. Both parties tried to use Charlie to further their ends, and neither deserves to prosper. If I could drop an applause gif here, I would.
Damn straight.
urh mur gurd im suur urxiteddd
Wow! I guess this moment here explains the title change?
Yep. It didn’t fit the book anymore, once I was done with the adaption. It fit the original novel a bit better, but the comic doesn’t have the same ending.
Ooooooooooo wow! @U@ can’t wait to watch the rest!!
I agree, it’s a great twist and really refreshing from the kind of cliched school election/popularity contest that usually comes with stories about high schools. Hat’s off to Principal Getty (and Prudence Shen) for taking care of business! Faith, I love how you drew them in the last panel.
Yeah, I like the direction the book goes in next. It’s unexpected and pretty cool. It was also a huge headache to draw. XD Anyway, you’ll see.
