I feel like cheering for Charlie. I hate stories where everything is ‘polite’, and you can tell they’re slowly dying inside. Way to make your feelings & reasons plain as day.

I just made the same face as Charlie’s dad. I didn’t think pushover Chuck had it in him, if only he could do that to the cheerleaders!
Finally Charlie let’s it out! Poor guy, although I feel sorry for his dad too. It can’t have been easy, which is probably why he spends so much time away from home.
